My Inspiration
SILVERTIP & the Spirit of Christmas...
I'd like to share my heartfelt furry inspiration. Christmas Eve 2019 our family dog passed away, it was a sad, special series of events, here is our story.
In early December it seemed like it would be Silvertips' last night...my husband was working at the firehall, both our girls were away in the thick of finals. I was in tears home alone, bargaining with him trying to get him to hold on until the girls could say their final goodbyes.
He was such a gem, it seemed as though he waited so he could say good bye to EVERYONE. Family was over for Christmas dinner, we had just finished & had started playing games when it happened...Silvertip couldn't walk! We rushed him to emergency they told us there was nothing they could do. It was time to say our final goodbyes, our hearts were heavy yet filled with GRATITUDE.
I wanted to honour his spirit & give him a special place in our homes.
A memory that makes us smile seeing a little piece of him
(his hair under the heart) his colouring, his fluffiness, his ESSENCE.

A little something about me, my original career was in apparel buying & design. Over the past 20 years I have been busy working, building, creating, advising, listening & just plain loving all those around me.
Having a diverse background I have discovered that fuelling everything I do with PURPOSE • INTENTION & a HUG...fill me up.

Is any kind of FIBRE...fabric, paper, wool.
Glittery • Sparkly objects make me smile. I LOVE colour, texture, tactile treasures & am the consummate giver of special things.
When creating/giving anything, I give it with PURPOSE • INTENTION.
I'm always humbled by the impact it leaves on people.
I have fun REPURPOSING sweaters, pillows, socks, Christmas pj's that were once loved & now being turned into one of a kind, thoughtful treasures.
